Lundi 7 août : la chaleur écrase la cuvette grenobloise, nous jouons (enfin un seul d’entre nous, en ces temps de congé estival) pour un 5ème round dans notre amphi fétiche du festival de théâtre « À La Bastille ». Car si le rock’n’roll n’est pas de l’opéra, ça reste du théâtre. Comme chaque année nous anticipons le projet du Ministre de la Transition Verte : nous jouons comme si tout le trafic automobile avait pompé l’électricité de nos centrales pour ne rien laisser au rock’n’roll, c’est-à-dire « unplugged ». Un intermède tellement bien improvisée que le public et les organisateurs ignoraient s’il s’agissait de lard ou du cochon a été assuré par Jo Leroux sur les bienfaits de l’eau fegirrugineuse. De l’art avec du cochon sur la table.
Merci aux Grenoblois, aux touristes, aux bulles, à La Bastille, à Philippe Bazatole et Christine Favaro. Sans oublier les prises de vue de Jacques Crouzet et la plume de Christophe Cadet représentant Le Dauphiné (Libéré) pour rendre compte de la pièce théâtrale rock’n’rollesque.

Monday 7th August : the basin city of Grenoble is drowning in the heat. We are performing (at least one of us because of holidays and summer time) for a 5th round in our lucky auditorium of the theater festival « À La Bastille ». If rock’n’roll is no opera, it’s nonetheless a kind of theater. Every year at La Bastille, we highly anticipate the now project of the French Minister of the Green Transition : we play as if the automotive traffic had pumped the whole electric power produced by our plants that lets nothing for rock’n’roll, meaning « unplugged ». An interlude, so well improvised that the audience and the organizers didn’t know if they had to laugh or to be afraid, has been performed by Jo Leroux about the benefits of ferruginous water.
Thanks to the People of Grenoble, to the tourists, to the « bubbles », to La Bastille, to Philippe Bazatole and Christine Favaro. Not to forget Christophe Cadet representing the local press with Le Dauphiné to write a piece about the rock’n’rollian theater.
