Between bar and restrooms, that’s often where everything happens for musicians. The stage or at least the room left for musicians to perform, is traditionally positioned there. The drunk guy who’s heading for the urinal by radar will inevitably collide with a guitar neck. At L’Art-Ti-Cho though, the stage is slightly shifted from that critical axis and we have some room to perform. The issue is that we had too much room on that Saturday, 18th October. Of course we were entitled to the usual drunk dude and his random trajectory. But we had so few people. To say the audience was not there would be conceited and improper to the few people who were there. At least those who were there attended the gig end to end. It’s worth performing as long as there’s someone in the audience (preferably not too drunk).

Entre le bar et les WC, c’est souvent là que tout se passe pour les musiciens. La scène, tout du moins la place qu’on accorde aux musiciens, est traditionnellement positionnée là. Le type bourré qui se dirige au radar vers l’urinoir va fatalement entrer en collision avec un manche de guitare. À l’Art-Ti-Cho la scène est néanmoins légèrement décalée par rapport à cet axe critique et on dispose d’espace. Le problème est que cet espace était bien vide en ce samedi 18 octobre. Bien sûr on a eu droit au mec bourré de circonstance avec ses trajectoires aléatoires. Mais nous avons eu bien peu de monde. Dire que le public n’était pas au rendez-vous serait prétentieux et surtout incorrect pour le peu de gens qui étaient présents. Au moins, ceux qui étaient là, ont assisté au concert de bout-en-bout. Cela vaut le coup de jouer tant qu’il y a un spectateur dans la salle (pas trop bourré de préférence).
