Last saturday we performed a « deadly » gig! Not that we killed people by breaking their ears. « Deadly » (« Mortel ! » in french) was the title of the festival we played on the Grenoble campus with the partnership of Radio Campus Grenoble (home of Honky Tonk Live). The setlist was oriented on that purpose : except for « The Return of Marv », every song was from a dead performer/songwriter to emphasize the immortality of a song. Most of all, each of those songs deals somehow with death.
By the way, this was also our first performance under the « Dusty Rodeo » brand name.

Samedi dernier, nous avons fait un concert mortel. Non, nous n’avons pas tué de spectateurs en leur cassant les oreilles. « Mortel ! » était l’intitulé du festival auquel nous participions sur le campus de Grenoble avec le partenariat de Radio Campus Grenoble (qui héberge Honky Tonk Live). Notre répertoire était donc orienté en ce sens : à part « The Return of Marv », chaque morceau joué provenait d’un artiste ou d’un auteur mort pour souligner l’immortalité d’une chanson. Avant tout, chaque morceau traitait d’une manière ou d’une autre de la mort.
En outre il s’agissait de notre première apparition sous la marque « Dusty Rodeo ».
