We’ve performed twice this weekend. Friday was our first time outside the city since 2013, back to where our music comes from : country! We were warmly welcomed at Le Relais des 7 Laux in the small village of Froges, at the bottom of the Pra-Poutel ski resort. No better place to play our kind of music. We felt like performing at any roadhouse along a country road. The stuff ended up with some numbers with our friends Bill, Vince and Jean-Loup.
Saturday night, we stopped at our HQ of Le Bayard to perform 2,5 hours non-stop. Still some people coming to chat while a gig is planned and complaining it’s too loud! Hey, this is a gig, not elevator music! If it’s too loud, you’re just too square! Sure it smells like cow shit and smoking diesel. This is rock’n’roll, baby! We fortunately don’t have any drummer…
Thank you Bill and the people at le Relais des 7 Laux, the rockabilly syndicate, the locals and all the people who cheered us and did not complain!

Ce weekend nous avons doublé la mise avec deux concerts. Vendredi soir c’était notre première fois en dehors de la ville depuis 2013, de retour là d’où notre musique vient : la country ! Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis au Relais des 7 Laux dans le petit village de Froges au pied de la montée vers la station de Pra-Poutel-Les Sept Laux. Pas de meilleur endroit pour jouer notre type de musique. L’histoire s’est terminée en beauté en boeuf avec nos amis Bill, Vince et Jean-Loup.
Samedi soir, nous avons fait un stop à notre QG du Bayard pour y jouer pendant deux heures et demie non-stop. Toujours des gens qui viennent pour discuter alors qu’un concert est planifié et qui se plaignent parce que nous jouons trop fort ! Eh, c’est un concert, pas de la musique d’ascenseur ! Si c’est trop fort pour toi, t’es coincé de l’arrière-train ! Eh ouais, ça sent un peu la bouse et le diesel, mon bobo. C’est du rock’n’roll, bébé ! Et heureusement qu’il n’y a pas de batteur…
Merci Bill et l’équipe du Relais des 7 Laux, le syndicat rockabilly, les gens de Froges et tous ceux qui nous ont applaudis et ne se sont pas plaints !
