Here is the T-Rodeo, the hot-rod Telecaster!
Historically this is the #3 Telecaster in the arsenal, another one built from scratch with Warmoth parts as done with Telecaster #002. It’s a stripped-down but sonically high-powered and highly customized (« hot-rod« / »bobber« ) Telecaster. This « Rodeocaster » is a combination of wood and metal designed for electricity (the gas of rock’n’roll!), based on a Telecaster ash hollow body (« thinline ») and a Stratocaster bird-eyed maple neck supporting a metal roller nut and Sperzel locking tuners. The bodywork, inspired by rat-rodding (have a look at Jimmy Shine’s Bare Nekid and Billy Gibbons’ 3W) and WWII aviation (those raw metal planes like B-17 bombers), leave some air breathe through the f-hole while the raw finish is sustained with a large custom metal pickguard cut out of the body of James Dean’s crashed Porsche Spyder 550. The engine is powered by one high-power twin rails Barden Modern T-Style pickup, a unique kind of humbucker, built with two parallel bar magnets in a single-coil size, controlled by a volume and a tone pot, mounted on a hot-rodded Rutters bridge and delivering a beefy twang.
The T-Rodeo made its first stage appearance in spring ’14.

Voici la T-Rodeo, la Telecaster hot-rod !
C’est chronologiquement la Tele numéro 3 dans l’arsenal, une autre assemblée avec des pièces détachées Warmoth à l’instar de la Telecaster #002. C’est une guitare de facture minimaliste inspirée du hot-rodding, soniquement puissante et ultra-personnalisée (cf. hot-rods et bobbers). Cette « Rodeocaster » est un assemblage de bois et de métal conçu pour l’électricité (le carburant du rock’n’roll !), basé sur un corps de Telecaster creux en frêne et un manche de Stratocaster en érable moucheté supportant un sillet métallique à roulements et des mécaniques à blocage Sperzel. La carrosserie, inspirée du rat-rodding (jetez un oeil sur le Bare Nekid de Jimmy Shine ou le 3W de Billy Gibbons) et de l’aviation de la 2nde Guerre Mondiale (l’aspect brut d’avions comme le fameux B-17), laisse respirer la machine à travers une ouïe en « f » tandis que la finition brute est rehaussée d’un large pickguard en métal, découpé dans la carrosserie de la Porsche Spyder accidentée de James Dean. Motorisation grâce à un puissant micro à deux lames Barden Modern T-Style, un humbucker unique en son genre, construit avec deux aimants parallèles dans un format de simple-bobinage, contrôlé par deux potars de volume et de tonalité, monté sur un chevalet hot-rodded Rutters bridge et délivrant un twang gras.
La T-Rodeo a fait sa première apparition sur scène au printemps 2014.
